Pilerats Records today released their first compilation, Rat Pack #1, and boy, does it have some heavy-hitting artists featured on it! Ryan Hemsworth, Trippy Turtle, ESTA, Abjo, Electric Mantis, and Odesza are half of the artists appearing on the body of work, though it's the last duo's effort that we're most enamored with here. Their contribution comes in the form of "Sun Models", a blissfully billowing affair that extracts some vocals from Madelyn Grant, and though the track has much going on within it, all chaos is controlled in incredibly cool fashion. Odesza isn't ever going to overwhelm in a discordant manner with their tracks, and "Sun Models" serves as the perfect testament to that fact.
