As you've probably been made aware of by now, the release of ODESZA's excellent In Return in conjunction with TSIS' sponsored remix competition has seen the arrival of an astonishing number of sonic interpretations. The track inspiring them all, the Zyra-featuring "Say My Name", has pulled both well-known and utterly obscure producers, and though a good bit of the resulting efforts have been good, New York producer Jai Wolf's own take on the track stands out. Within his work, Jai utilizes a slinking, side-chained bassline and glittering synths, and this gives the already-impressive track a unique, danceable flair. By expertly blending Zyra's vocals with pulsating synth pads and energetic drums, too, Jai gives rise to a truly crisp and clean sound—one we can't help but highlight here.
