Oddisee has been one of our favorite rappers for quite a few years now, and it looks like his upcoming album, The Good Fight, is shaping up to be a big one. His first single off the project, "That's Love", has been one of our favorite hip-hop efforts we've heard so far this year, and the positivity he's bringing to the genre has us rooting for him in full force. Now, the Brooklyn-based artist is back with his second single from the album, "Counter-Clockwise", and it has us on the edge of our seats in anticipation for the upcoming project. The instrumental on the track is jazzy and smooth, though we do hear some tricky reverse-play occurring at a few points. Oddisee states that the track is about bearing the burden of others' problems when you're strong enough to handle them—a theme that certainly coincides with the upcoming album's title—and you can watch the sentiments unfold with the song's music video below.
