It's become a fairly popular strategy for artists to release a pair of tracks at the same time. Doing so provides listeners with a more dynamic spectrum of the artists' abilities than a single track could, and it seems the most recent (successful) display of this tactic comes from LA-based NVDES. With the release of "Do You Think About Me" and "Do Ya", NVDES sets a tone of longing and desire with a mix of clean guitar riffs, groovy drum patterns, and ethereal vocals, and the latter track proceeds to personify the same sentiment, echoing the new tactic mentioned above. If you live near New York or Chicago, be on the lookout for NVDES in August, as the act travels to show off what seems to be a constantly evolving (and exciting) sound ahead.
