We understand if you find indie-folk that sounds like Bon Iver utterly boring. We, on the other hand, can't get enough of it, and whenever we hear an artist champion such ethereality with his or her sound, it brings us pleasure every time. It's not like Novo Amor is a carbon copy of Justin Vernon by any means, it's just common sense to relate the two once you listen. But now that we got that out of the way, what's important here is the newest track from the Cardiff-based vocalist, "Holland". It's beautiful in its simplicity and all-encompassing in its euphoric sense of felicity. "Holland" may no be suitable for all situations if life, but when a track like this one is needed, it can be seen as medicine for the soul. This illustrious effort is leading Novo Amor's forthcoming EP, Woodgate, NY, that's slated to drop on March 31st via Brilliance records.
