It's good to hear music sometimes that isn't so polished, as tracks that possess a rougher, more crude sound have their own appeal that often gets overlooked. North Downs, a new-to-our-ears band, just dropped their debut single entitled "Nothin'", and it embodies the aforementioned primitive sound well. The edgy alternative sound here is one we have heard before, but the crooning vocals, powerful, rugged guitar licks, and vibrant drum beat all make one up that is well worth a listen. We currently do not have much information on the act or any news of upcoming projects, but, based on this effort, we definitely do hope to hear back from them soon.
