Our ears perked up a bit when we heard Ben Esser’s remix of Noah Slee’s “Can’t Let Go”, as there’s always room in our playlists for a hipped-up R&B effort. When we’ve heard Noah Slee's work in the past, it’s had much more of a laid-back flavor, but the way Esser takes “Can’t Let Go” and morphs its soulful notes into a more percussive, upbeat tune is simply excellent. He backs it all with blooming synths, too—ones that grow and push the track in a refreshing direction as it cruises along to its utterly suave end state.
