The internet is a global equalizer, and that means that artists from around the world are able to begin their careers on a generally even field of play. Artists today are able to share ideas with fellow creatives and contribute their art to this massive bank of information, and that creates, in a way, an international playhouse for creatives. Rome Gomez (no rome), a Filipino teen, is one of the many wonderful products of this new world, and we're excited to be able to share his new track, "flowers on my neck / breaking" here. On the track, Gomez reimagines "I Was More Than" by New Zealand artist Lontalius, and the result is something new and heartfelt—a natural pairing in an unnatural medium that we love.
