ain't coming back

It's been over a year since we came across the Manila-based artist no rome, and what particularly intrigued us about his sound was the abundance of sentiments found within it. Today, we turn to his latest piece, "ain't coming back" that's being released on Ryan Hemsworth's ever-burgeoning project for upcoming producers and vocalists, and, on it, he discusses the inspiration behind the track, claiming he wrote it for "a girl he once dated and was merely inspired by spending lonely nights at underground clubs with the same old breakdown." Lyrically, this is without a doubt rome's best effort to date, and his emotionally driven tone melds flawlessly with what heartfelt words he chooses to employ. The Philippines resident doesn't hold back on the beat, however, and with the chord progressions and low-lit drums he uses, he creates an ideal environment for his voice to glide across. "ain't coming back" becomes a tireless listen because of this, and we foresee it gaining some notoriety across the music sphere as a result.
