"The Florist" is London-based artist Nilüfer Yanya's third notable song in recent months, following up the equally excellent "Small Crimes" and "Keep on Calling", and it continues her efforts to let her lyrics speak as loud as the sharp slashes of guitar and subdued percussion that accompany them. With each release, Yanya seems more and more like the much-needed female counterpart to King Krule, and this track of hers, again, is definitely worth checking out.
