Usually when we see an artist's work remixed countless times (in a relatively short amount of time), we tend to overdose on the aforementioned artist. By no means are we sick of Nicole Millar, though; we're just stating how we feel sometimes in regards to the remix game. Here to switch up our tone a bit is the Sydney-based trio, ISLND, who go against the grain of our expectations with their fantastic remix of "Taken". Even if "Taken" was remixed 20 times before this, this interpretation would still sound great, because what ISLND did here not only accentuates the original, but places the song into welcomed disco & dance territories as well. Anyone who has an appreciation for the genres is going to love this remix. Listen below.
