If you can get over that initial ignorance of judging Nicki based on the fact she is a female rapper and that album cover, you will be a bit surprised. My first impression of Nicki was from her verse on Kanye's Monster. She ended up stealing the show on that track with her incredible vocal range. The rawness was incredible and to whoever has heard that song knows exactly what I am talking about. Pink Friday is not all Nicki rapping but shows her singing ability with inventive song writing. I will admit I did not like most of the album but it's hard not to deny the pop sensibilities on Pink Friday. Below were my favorite tracks. To me her talent really shows @ 3:37 on Moment 4 Life, make sure you zone out on that part. You can bet this album will kick start up Nicki's career. Pink Friday drops on Nov 22nd.
