With so much mediocre music drifting around the web these days, it's always a nice moment when we stumble upon quality tracks from up-and-comers with major talent. Nick Leng's work definitely fits that mould, and his chillwave-infused track, "Crawled Out of the Sea", was not only a hidden gem (until now), but just a solid track by any measure. The songs opens up softly enough, but quiet guitar scales and aquatic textures soon get layered with a killer beat that kicks just enough to keep the whole thing moving forward at the perfect pace. It's not out to get you wound up with high-strung synths or ear-pounding bass, but its near perfect balance of highs and lows means this one is a winner. Keep "Crawled Out of the Sea" on tap for when you need your day to be just a little more stress-free.
