If you thought Nick Klein, a duo consisting of Nick Klein (vocals) and Ferdous Dehzad (production), was just going to be a niche music project (yes, Nick's name is the title of the act) releasing their efforts on SoundCloud and hoping it would catch on, think again, because as their latest track, "Paralyzed", shows, they've a sound that's destined to appeal to the masses. You could call "Paralyzed" an R&B-based track, but with the edge-of-your-seat production from Ferdous, there's a constant energy induced throughout, as fervent Ben Khan-meets-Oceaán melodies give flight to Nick's solid vocals and make the track a seriously addictive and entertaining one. The pair have a new EP on the way, and after falling in love with "Paralyzed", we can't wait to hear what's next from the work.
