At this point, it's pretty rare for a day to go by without hearing an excellent new artist or act, and today, it seems Nick Hill is our featured artist of the type. As is the norm with such newcomers, we don't have much information on him right now, but what we do know is that the Sydney-based artist has an EP coming soon, and that he's dropped off a real gem from it in "Know This", his first single. Nick's created a wonderfully mellow piece with "Know This", and that's due mainly to what deep synths and fresh percussion he uses throughout. The track moves along at a comfortable pace with the elements in tow, and alongside them, Nick nails down a soulful sound that's not too aggressive, but correctly conveyed. With his aforementioned, upcoming EP, Rut, set for release on November 26th via Yes Please Records, Nick Hill stands to make quite an impact. If the efforts comprising it relate to "Know This" in any way, it'll definitely be one to seek out.
