Nick Brewer is no foreign name to those who dig deep in the UK rap scene, and though it’s been just over four months since the release of his latest EP, Warning Light, the Essex emcee comes catapulting back with a scorcher of a piece entitled “I’m A Pro”. Providing ample vocal assistance on the piece is another London talent, Shakka, who peacocks his vocal abilities and blends them in flawlessly with Brewer's rhymes, and alongside the sweet synergy exists hollow baselines, grime-etched synths, and hat-rolled patterns. Brewer exploits every wing emphatically, delivering sizzling, poised verses, and Shakka further bolsters the all-UK affair with an assertive chorus of his own that catches on within seconds. Head-nods are guaranteed with this one.
