Nessly’s brand of hip-hop is one we have grown increasingly fond of here, so we are excited to delve into his new project, Wildflower. Executively produced by frequent collaborator Take A Daytrip and TM88, the project is, as you might expect, home to some of the hardest instrumentals of the year. It is Nessly’s powerful tone and energetic melodies which really take command on this tape, however. This Republic Records-signed artist is aiming for (nothing) short of becoming a star here, and, after listening, it sounds like he’s on his way to becoming a household name in pop, hip-hop, and beyond.
