Swedish-American indie quartet Nervouse Nellie are dropping their EP Gloves on Feb 12. The title track, Gloves, is a no-frills indie-rock jam that's made to work through the use of simple-but-catchy synth chord progression, an anthemic chorus, and big drums riffs. “The idea for the song came after hearing an old Tom Petty drum pattern on an oldies station when out driving one day” says the band's lead, Henrik Jonzon.
