Nelly Furtado, a major pop powerhouse of the 2000s, fell silent for a few years after a bevy of smash singles and chart-topping albums. She began to resurface a few months ago, however, working with Dev Hynes and hinting that a new album was on the way. Well, that hinting has now turned into a reality, as "Pipe Dreams" becomes the lead single for her upcoming studio album, The Ride, that'll be out next March. The lilting, organ-heavy piece is a more subdued release from the singer, though, with that being said, "Pipe Dreams" is still a dreamy, sparkling exemplar of her transforming career.
