Although Natti first entered our ears back in 2006 with his appearance on the CunninLynguists' third album, A Piece Of Strange, we have yet to see a full-length from the KY rapper, himself. However, as we found out last week with the two lead-up singles, the debut album from Natti, Still Motion, has finally seen the light of day. And while some may look at that as a risk in the current climate of marquee music, for Natti, it's not that big of a deal, since he's a dedicated basis of fans backing him up. And besides, an album like this will recieve more buzz from word of mouth than anything else, because once people get their ears on the effort, it will sell itself. [do action="quote-right"]'Still Motion' is an oasis in a sea of hip-hop monotony[/do] From the in-house production provided by both Kno & Deacon, Still Motion rides a consistent base of quality from the dynamic beats the two are able to whip up; and it's this multifarious backdrop that enables Natti to deliver with his iconic, witted rhymes. So while Still Motion may fail to be the most hyped album in 2013, it has definite potential to be as worthwhile a listen as any other effort put out this year. And for those who do manage to gaze through the haze of recent hip-hop monotony, there will lay an oasis of an album waiting to dived into, that being Still Motion.
