2017 spawned a renaissance in R&B. We're not gonna name every great artist who dropped quality music in it this year, but we are gonna press you to add one more name to the list: Myles Cameron. Myles' latest single, "dontwantme", finds him seeking closure to a fading relationship, and, within it, he subtly references Kanye West's "Ultralight Beam" and flexes the highs and lows of his vocal range. If he was created in a strange, music-themed laboratory (which we're not 100% ruling out), we'd say he's equal parts Khalid and James Blake, which creates another lane in the super filled field of R&B. "Dontwantme" is the fourth of ten monthly releases from Cameron, and you can catch up on the previous three, including our other favorite, "soliloquy", HERE. Watch for this guy in the future.
