If there’s anyone that’s giving the Australians a run for their money in terms of forward-thinking music, it would be the swiftly growing base of French beatmakers. The latest to appear on our radar from the bunch is the oddly named my.head who makes his HD debut with his EP-highlight, "2am", that features the melancholic vocals of Norwegian-based singer-songwriter, Ida Dillan. The combination proves to be a potent one, and if it's not the ethereal vocals of Ida Dillan leading the way on the track, it's my.head’s unblemished production skills that take hold of attention, as “2am" is nothing short of surreal. This is one of the few tracks we post that crosses the six-minute mark, but surprisingly enough, it gets more engrossing as it goes on.
