Hailing from France, Mwte are a group that have maybe a year left, maybe, of toiling in obscurity before they blow up and their sound is all over both sides of the pond. From their forthcoming EP "Attraction to Light" out later this year, "Dead and Gone" is exactly what you want to hear from an electro-shoegaze track. The tone is set early for something introspective and moving, with lilting vocals that could melt the heart of the most hard-assed music hater (you know who you are). The best way to describe it would be Nine Inch Nails if Trent Reznor was a chick and didn't hate the world so much. Even if shoegaze isn't normally your thing, you'll definitely enjoy this.
