When Mulherin came into our gaze with "Daily" three months ago, we were taken aback by—and completely enamored with—their sturdy and glistening brand of R&B. It did just enough without doing too much, and it really provided a clean and quite incredible listen as a result. We waited anxiously for new material to come from the duo because of the track. Today, we wait no longer, as the two-piece has come back with a harder-hitting jam in "Amnesia" that we dig. It makes use of much tougher percussion than the aforementioned track, but the vocals on top are still silky and completely absorbing, and we can't complain about that. The whole piece rivals the kind of sound that Majid Jordan has put together of late, and that's quite an amazing thing. Perhaps Mulherin will come to compete creatively with them for some time to come. We wouldn't mind seeing more exemplary pieces like this one come about.
