When we think of producers that have a flawless track record, JM∆C comes to mind. We only just heard of the individual four months ago, and now with his latest work, a melodic remix of Mt. Wolf's Alexa Harley-featured "VIII", we have another good reason to assume that he can't release anything subpar. The Londoner's flip on the track is just a bit more upbeat than the slow-moving original, but it's still relaxing, and with its additions of marimbas, filter-sweeping synths, and vocal pitching, there's more than enough reason to like the remix at least as much as the material it's edited. If you wish to purchase what you've listened to here, you can head to Bandcamp to do just that. The wonderful artists behind the work have decided to send all of the proceeds from the track toward the relief efforts in earthquake-torn Nepal, too, so let that be a motivating factor for you to pick it up.
