We come across a lot of unique names in our searches for new music, and m:ro, a Slovakian-born, Prague-residing electronic producer, is the latest in the long line. He's a sound that bears a clear resemblance to the type of music that's coming strong and steady out of his corner of the globe, and though his track here is predominantly "garage", it moves at a slower pace that puts it into its own class. Now, the beat does have some punch to it, but there's definitely a sense that m:ro's gone for a more relaxed aesthetic on "Wait". The track has a couple vocal samples thrown in here and there to make sure you don't drift off into a fog of sonic textures and undulating synth lines, and it seems as though m:ro has found a good balance between engaging song structure and quality dance music composition. "Wait" didn't exactly take off after it was released (it's been out for about eight months now), but it's a solid offering from a talented producer, and definitely deserves some love.
