About a month ago, we caught on to London-rooted trio Mr Sanka with their debut, "Flight Mode", a brilliantly electronic-infused indie-rock piece that's had our attention locked since. Today, with their second, equally ecstatic track, "Midnight Air", we've more material of theirs to spin. Frontman Nick van Hofwegen has the group off to an expeditious start, with their '60s and '70s-inspired sound that brews synths, guitar, and grooving percussion coming into the limelight as it should be. As evidenced by both tracks now, these three are on to something, and, needless to say, we'll be keeping our eyes and ears on them from here.
