Mr Little Jeans may not be getting as much attention as some of her other Scandinavian counterparts at the moment, but with the release of her debut, Pocketknife, on the horizon (March 25th), we're thinking that's going to change pretty quickly. Her music is not so much a carbon copy of everything else that's coming out of Scandinavia (which is a very good thing); rather, the music retains pop elements without vying for your attention through huge production techniques. It seeks your attention through its quiet confidence that's found in offerings like "The Suburbs" & "Mercy". Through just the right amount of charm and accessibility, Mr Little Jeans' debut is going to be for the introverts who prefer to listen to music with heightened awareness, rather then accompanying it during late-night excursions.
