During our search for new material, we happened to come across Mount Weak, a female producer and singer residing in the UK. To our knowledge, she's undiscovered, but that shouldn't steer you away, because we often find that uncharted acts are the ones creating the most unique work. She just released her new album, Mt. Weak, and after a quick listen through, we decided that "Paradise Lost" is the song that best exemplifies her distinct style from it. The haunting piece begins with nothing more than a few tranquil synth notes, which then grow and are glossed over with spine-chilling vocals that excessively echo and pan. However, a little after the one-minute mark, the beat sets in and gives the song a fresh twist, contributing bass and unique percussion. Before you know it, you'll probably be immersed in the track's serene sonic atmosphere, so if you have a moment, we recommend that you throw the song on repeat and vibe out for a few minutes.
