It's been well over a year since MOTHXR (they previously went by "M o t h e r") spectacularly debuted their unique blend of indie through "Easy", their first track. Shortly after, the Brooklyn four-piece released two more stellar tracks, but we haven't heard any new material from them since. Today, however, they've finally returned with an excellent new single, "Touch", that's kicking off their forthcoming debut record. With no chorus, multiple drum solos, and a slightly dance-able but darkly tinged sound, the track can certainly be summed up as a unique one. We're loving the group's distinct sound, and we're excited to hear more of it in their forthcoming album, which does not yet have a set release date but will be launched through Washington Square and Kitsuné Records.
