Mosquito Coast, a new indie-rock, lo-fi-leaning duo from Perth, just won Triple J Unearthed's yearly "Unearthed High" competition (contestants are still in high school), and it's pretty clear why they did. Take one listen to "Call My Name", one of only two tracks that he duo have released thus far, and you'll be able to tell why they have a serious chance to make it in music not only in Australia, but internationally as well. With the kind of instantly accessible, Best Coast-like sound they have on the track we're sharing here, there's no question that the potential for this duo is big.
