Moses Sumney has been bubbling for a few years now, but, even if you aren't yet aware of him, now is currently the ideal time to become enlightened. Over the past four years, the LA-based artist has dropped two EPs, released a handful of singles (our favorite being "Worth It"), and featured on a couple notable songs with Flume, Hundred Waters, and, now, he's finally gearing up for the release of his debut album—one which will be released via prominent indie label Jagjaguwar. Today, Moses is giving us our first taste of the project with an ambient, captivating single called "Doomed", and, though the minimal piece begins from essentially nothing, it swells and grows at a slow, steady pace until skillfully arriving at the stunning climax it has. We're quite blown away by the artistic vision Moses has presented here, and we're definitely looking forward to hearing more of it on his aforementioned forthcoming album. For now, though, we'll be listening to "Doomed" below.
