If you're going to call yourself "Moon Bounce", your music better live up to the descriptive moniker, because people will be giving you the immediate side eye from your lack of name selection skills if not. For the Philly native, though, there couldn't be a better name for his off-planet musical genius, because as we find out with his new EP, Dress Rehearsal, his production is so beyond the scope of the norm that we're going to have to expand our own consciousness just to digest the piece of musical wizardry. Like a chemical concoction of substances that have no business being together, the production of Corey Regensburg (Moon Bounce) comes eccentrically together, as he fashions an endless array of instrumentation that's basically the musical equivalent of anarchy. Luckily for us, the end result is not discordant, nor disorganized; rather, what's exhaled from Dress Rehearsal is nothing short of sonic excitement, and for that very reason, we think you're going to love the EP.
