Five-piece funk-infused group Monophonics have been floating around the music world for over eight years now, and it's pretty clear that they've already built their alcove in terms of style. Their latest album, Sound of Sinning, backs up the claim admirably, and if you've never come across their work, all you need to know is that they've taken up the chore of turning back the clock and exposing their listeners to a dormant but amazing style of vocal-injected vintage soul. The album of theirs features eleven nostalgia-inducing pieces, and the ones we've currently got on repeat are "La La Love Me", "Strange Love", and 'Find My Way Back Home", simply because each of them possesses a strikingly soulful nuance throughout.
