Just a few months ago, we featured the very first sounds from new indie-pop act MONAKR. The group, made up of four well-credentialed musicians, has already released a stellar debut single, "Diamond", and now they're back with a spectacular follow-up in "Calling Out". The new track places much emphasis on Matthew Santos' breathtaking vocals, which gently float through the verses and then passionately burst in the empowering chorus. Deep synths and fresh percussion carry the song instrumentally, and all in all, another very solid pop offering comes about. Look for MONAKR's debut EP to be released in June, but until then, stream the excelling "Calling Out" below.
