Listen to the pipes on this kid! Not sure what's better, his voice or his flat-top. He's only 18 and he's producing, songwriting, and singing like a veteran. He was featured recently on a hit track by Rudimental, and now he's sacking up and doing what no one else dared: messing with perfection. People normally say that meaning it's a bad thing, and usually it is, because when you take something so good, you usually only make it worse. In this case, MNEK managed the feat of making it different, but if you enjoy r&b, dare I say at least pretty near to as good. He takes the blistering pace down a notch and belts through it with unequivocally skilled R&B vocals. Keep an eye out for MNEK as the best is still to come for this young multi-talented artist.
