With only a handful of tracks to his name, Sydney-based artist MK Grands has already made it clear that he wishes to continually break any clichéd sonic structures, as his latest, progressively evocative piece "Pinnacles" impresses thoroughly. With past tracks "Throne" and "Visionary IX" exposing completely distinct characteristics while keeping a consistent signature nuance, we almost don't know what to expect in terms of style. "Pinnacle" is unquestionably engaging from the very beginning, as Daniel Cartisano (MK Grands) employs upright piano notes, and spacey chord progressions. Daniel certainly keeps his vocals in the spotlight on this one, but that far from takes away the appeal from the production, as all sonic elements glide neutrally to give the vocals a balanced, highly-emphatic background. The single is yet another one that follows an unpredictable course, but with the inclusions MK Grands utilizes here, there's no doubt his sound will continue to impress.
