We've been big supporters of Misun ever since their first EP popped up about three years ago, and the last time we heard from the band from Washington, D.C. was when they dropped off their excellent debut album, Superstitions. Now, just five months after that album's release, the group is back with a brand-new single entitled "After Me" and exciting news of a forthcoming EP. Misun's work can range from vintage-sounding rock to electronically influenced indie, and on their new track, the group decides to embrace a fairly mellow version of the former sound. Soft synths and a brilliant drum kit create a great foundation for some collective-sounding vocals, and the end result is a laid-back affair that we're really enjoying well. At this rate, it looks like Misun has no intentions of slowing down the flow of good music that they've been so easily creating, so keep your ears peeled for their aforementioned, upcoming EP (it's called Feel Better) which will be released May 29.
