Mirah is a pretty unique case for us. While many of the artists that we post are ordinarily new to the music world, this songstress released her first EP in 1997, seventeen years ago. Once you take a listen to her latest single, "Oxen Hope", you may find this fact startling, mostly because her style sounds absolutely up-to-date. The brilliant track begins with a deep set of synths and Mirah's vocals, and it then progresses through several variegated stages that feature fresh percussion, vocal harmonies, strings, effected guitar, and electronic material. Her creativity seems to be absolutely flourishing right now, as her single's structure is diverse enough to keep any listener heavily engaged throughout.
