Just when we think we've come across about all the fresh-sound production there is, we come across Michael Davis, a production duo we don't know a whole lot about aside from the fact that they're from a country burgeoning with it (Australia). We're more concerned with their sublime new instrumental called "Lightyears", however, and, after listening to it, we think that you will be, too. The polished piece is one that's easy to immerse yourself into, as cruising drum sequences and delectable vocal-pitching give rise to a rather laid-back atmosphere overall. Both Michael and Davis might be total strangers to most at this point as we declared above, but we're banking on the fact that tracks like "Lightyears" will help them gain a little bit more acclaim.
