After announcing his retirement from rap via an Instagram story, it was unclear whether Metro Boomin was seriously hanging his hat after becoming hip-hop's most prized producer. Yet, after spending the majority of the year laying low, the St. Louis-born "came back" with a whole album. Though we're not particularly floored by the whole project, we are enjoying its second track, the Travis Scott-assisted "Overdue", so, of course, we've featured it here. We wish the release had as much heat as what he gave last year, but, we respect his innovation, and we are glad he is "back".
