WMNSTUDIES has been on a release hiatus for a couple of months, but it looks like they've been hard at work during the time off, because their latest remix here is as solid as anything they've put out to-date. Mereki's original mix of the song is very much a slow-burn pop song with no shortage of low-down grunt, but the Canadian production duo has smoothed out all the edges and completely filtered out the feedback and static which gave it that dark edge. In its place now is a set of ultra-smooth synth chords and just a bit more bounce to get things moving off the line. WMNSTUDIES made their mark last year with a fresh new sound that had just the right amount of pop to it, and it looks like they're gonna be keeping that hot streak alive well into 2014.
