Aside from a few that we've been able to share on HD, we haven't come across too many new pop acts from Quebec. However, with Men I Trust, a five-piece band without as much traction as they certainly should have, we've another reason to highlight the area. Men I Trust has been idle for well over a year now after they released their debut album back in May of last year, but we're only now coming across them, because they just uploaded the work to SoundCloud a little over a month ago. The album definitely has its bright spots, but among the efforts, we really took to two tracks in particular: the slow-moving but methodical "Stay True" (the synth in its second verse is super tight), and the equally enchanting "A Prayer". Both efforts are more than enough to get you into their music, so when you're done checking out those favorites of ours, head on over to Bandcamp to catch the rest of the debut.
