Men I Trust, a Montreal-based collective made up of three producers and two vocalists, has made quick work of scooping up fans lately, because with "Break For Lovers", the first, Helena-featured single from their second full-length project, Headroom, the appeal for their sound is one that's instant for anyone who's an affliction for warm-sounding pop. Now with the rest of Headroom slated to drop on June 30, we're here to tell you that the rest of the album is just as gorgeous-sounding as that first single from it. As far as easy listening goes, this ten-track body of work has to be up at the top of the list. From smooth guitar licks, to groovy basslines, to toe-tapping percussion, to heart-warming piano chords, there's nothing not to love on the production side; and the vocal features from Helena, Ghostly Kisses, Odlle, Geoffroy, Emma, and Nicolas (they're all local artists from the same city) are just as pleasurable. If you're in need of a relaxing listen, then, you'll definitely want to be seeking Headroom for the foreseeable future.
