Hopefully you’ve been keeping up with everything that we have posted on Memorecks so far because we are expecting him to break out very soon. His production is mainly rooted in hip-hop, but what makes him really stand out is when he incorporates unique sounds & arrangements of electronic music into his productions. Now I know this doesn’t sound all to special when we plainly say it like that — thankfully his music out-shines my words by miles. If you want proof how on talented this Toronto based producer is, one listen to his newest track “Gun Talk (Fu-Gee-La)” and you will be sold. The song re-works the classic Fugees track “Fu-Gee-La”. We are going to be bold and call him the next Kaytranada. Not that his music sounds like his, more-so rather we want to say that Memorecks will follow the same kind of path as Kaytranada and be all over the place.
