The number of bands bringing a psychedelic-rock sound back into the mainstream is growing at a steady clip, and despite the genre's cool-factor taking a hit by so many acts following the trend, there are still those out there creating this sound because they like it. Melody's Echo Chamber is one such act keeping things real, and it's obvious with tracks like "Shirim", their latest single, that there's no clear-cut formula they're abiding by. Creativity paved the way for this fun-sounding track, and a plethora of guitars bouncing off each other coupled with the vintage vocals of Melody allow the effort to shine in all its enticing might. It can get a bit hectic at times, sure, but that's often a staple trait of the genre, and really adds to the character of the track. As Stereogum exposed in their own post of the track, we can expect a new album from Melody's Echo Chamber next spring.
