Though we've not posted about Los Angeles singer-songwriter Meiko before (or Cobalt Rabbit, for that matter), it appears others have taken to her work quite fondly. Several remixes of hers slid our way when we looked up the latter individual's one we're featuring today, and based on the strength of the original, we can definitely see why. Meiko's a wonderful voice, her track, "Leave The Lights On", is extraordinary in an Ellie Goulding kind of way, and several of its sonic components lend themselves fantastically to those willing to take a stab at shifting around the sound. Cobalt does just that on his mix, and his ever-progressing synths and hard-sounding percussion make it one with truly great appeal. Listen below.
