Mega.. is an LA-based trio with two tracks out right now that are definitely better than their status as upstart status would imply.The band's production duties are handled by Don and Sam of Caswell (they produced Rainy Milo's "Rats"), and the vocals by Ben Klamm. The music itself is a blend of indie, electronic, and some of that that ultra-catchy-not-quite-pop we’ve been coming across a lot lately. “Forget The World” is a slower track that needs some time to warm up, but once it does, everything opens up with some intriguing, island-infused production work. Conversely, “Doin It Wrong” kicks things off with a pop, and then settles into a nice relaxed vibe complete with some echoey guitar notes and a rolling beat. We’re not sure what Mega.. has planned for the future, but if their sound continues to develop along these lines, you’re looking at another great name with a lot of future potential.
