I feel inclined to hate on Medicine Hat, an Ann Arbor, Michigan producer, despite the fact that I was just "introduced" to him yesterday. His resident city is home to one of my soon-to-be university's biggests rivals: the Michigan Wolverines. I suppose I can forgive him if he continues to pump out gracefully gliding productions like "Here You Are" though. The track dabbles in exuberant synth from the start, building anticipation alongside a series of keys and screwed samples, and it only takes a short while before the smartly restrained bass, and more prominent vocal clip is introduced. The effort turns into, and remains, a fluffy, but still entirely enthralling affair for the remainder of its life, and it's definitely whetted our appetite for new material from the Michigan producer.
