We've come to know Harry Edwards as a musician who continues to break cliched sonic structures on every effort, and here, he portrays his more astute side, gently reworking Meadowlark's "Fire". The original work is one from the four-track EP, Dual, by the Bristol-based duo, and it seems that the ideal artist to revamp the piece has been found. Upon first listen, this remix might seem more like an edit, but if you pay close attention, you'll hear Harry's installation of sustained, emphatic chords and snare-heavy patterns to compliment Kate McGill's (vocalist) vocals gorgeously. Amid all the little inclusions, he incorporates harmonizing pitch-shifted vocals, too, to add to the ambiance he's so skillfully created. You'll enjoy it all.
